How this is built

A proxy study, on purpose

Every GTM plan answers the same five questions, in any vertical. The answers are not hard once the inputs are right. Getting the inputs is the work.

  1. What do we want to achieve?
  2. Who do we need to achieve that? This study is an input to this one.
  3. What do we want them to think, feel and do?
  4. What can we say or do that makes them think, feel and do it?
  5. Where can we say it so they will see it?

Titles never map one to one to work, so every number here is a proxy: the same classifier reads every title, results are ranges rather than points, and each chart shows how many companies stand behind it and where their size and revenue data came from (reported, estimated from provider data, or inferred from headcount). Stages are set by revenue. Cuts with fewer than ten companies are hidden. Open roles show demand, not who already holds a seat. The findings are directionally true based on the data, and they sharpen as the data improves.
